PU Primer 8.1

To ensure a safe application and maximum performance, follow the instructions below:

Surface Preparation:
• Degrease the area with Degreasing Solution, eliminating dust, grease, and other impurities that may compromise the product's performance.

Application:
• Homogenize the primer before use: For every 8 parts by volume of Polibra PU Primer 8.1, add 1 part by volume of Polibra PU Catalyst 8.1.
• After catalysis, dilute with PU thinner in a ratio of 20% to 30%.
• Drying time:

Air drying at 25°C: 4 hours
Oven drying at 60°C: 30 minutes
Sanding:
• Dry sanding: Start with grit 320 or 400 | Finish with grit 400 or 600
• Wet sanding: Start with grit 400 | Finish with grit 600

Useful life of the mixture: 2 hours at 25°C

Recommended for promoting filling and adhesion in the preparation of metal surfaces for general painting or small repairs. It performs well when applied in conjunction with polyurethane and/or polyester finishes.
